We had a great experience at the Pineapple House. We were in town for my brother's wedding and had four family members traveling together. It was perfect for us. Bill and Janine are so welcoming and somehow manage to balance friendly personable hosting with guest privacy. We felt right at home. The house and the bedrooms have a cozy colonial feel and the food was amazing! Breakfasts were generous and delicious...and they know how to make real coffee.

It's a short walk from the Pineapple to other restaurants in downtown Canajoharie, so it's convenient if you want variety too. Anyway, we loved it and will be returning next time we're in the area for a family get together.

Room tip: There are two rooms on the second floor. Both are comparable in quiet, roominess and comfort.

My family and I very recently stayed at The Pineapple House during my brother's wedding weekend. Bill and Janine were lovely and hospitable. I had never stayed at a B&B before and was not sure what to expect. I and my family members felt immediately at ease in this charming home. Bill and Janine are engaging and easy to be around. We enjoyed talking with them and they balanced being social while also giving us family time and privacy. The food is excellent and home made. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

My husband and I loved everything about the Pineapple House Bed and Breakfast. Bill and Janine are so warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed talking to them as we had much in common! The house, built in 1860, is spectacular, and Bill and Janine have done beautiful renovations, keeping within the time period of the house. It is spotless, and our room was beautifully decorated with antiques and lovely art work. Breakfast is delicious, from the fresh fruit cup to the asparagus souffle! And don't forget the muffins!!!! Homemade and delicious! The location is close to the Thruway, perfect when traveling across New York state. However, Canajoharie is a destination in itself, close to Cooperstown, the Adirondacks, Albany, among other places. This bed and breakfast is a great find, and we have already booked for our next visit! Thank you Bill and Janine for a wonderful overnight!!!!

Bill and Janine were great hosts. The room was really nice and they were terrific hosts with much practical advice on local restaurants and attractions. We were completing the Erie Canal "end to end" trip portion from Rome to Albany and the Pineapple House was smack dab in the middle of our route. We highly recommend!!!

Btw.... Great chocolate chip cookies!

Room tip: It's all good😀
