My wife and I were visiting the area and decided to try World Pie. The name is very deceiving since the restaurant is more than a pizza place. We both ordered the butternut squash soup which was very good. I had the pumpkin ravioli based on a recommendation, and it was excellent. My wife ordered the salmon served with mashed potatoes. The portion was small, decent, but not what we would expect for the price. The restaurant is very pleasant and the bar was very busy when we left.

Apps and pizza with some wine. Super service by waitress Roxanna. Bartender Dennis made us feel very welcome while waiting for table. Great value for large portions. I’m going back.

The pizzas look awesome, but I was with a group in which none of us ordered that. The pasta was good, the soups were tasty if not particularly hot and the sandwiches were OK. Service was friendly, but not very attentive, as lots of mistakes were made in getting our meals out, and then in getting the bill straight.

Some of the meal was inedible - We had a pasta dish that was tasteless and so over cooked the pasta was mush. The lettuce in the salad wasn't fresh . The bottle of sparking water we had hardly had any fizz- we wondered if it had been open. Just an overall lousy meal.

We arrived without a reservation at dinner peak time and the owner made sure to find us a place where our 15 month granddaughter could run around while her food arrived.

We sat outside on a picnic table setting which was perfect and we ate their delicious pizza, pastas and whatever else we ordered.

Thank you
