I don't know where to start, Inyati was amazing on so many levels! I didn't want to leave! Firstly, the game drives, which are the most important consideration, were absolutely superb! We stayed at two other lodges and our experience at Inyati was by far the most thrilling and exhilarating. In fact, it was so special I shed tears on two occasions, and that was after I had already spent four days in other lodges. Credit goes to Omega and Rodger, our guide and tracker, who shared their love and passion for the animals with us. They worked extremely hard tracking the animals and ensured that we experienced the very best that the park had to offer. We came within metres of the big five, watched lions feast on buffalo, tracked a leopard back to feed and play with her two cubs, watched a baby impala take it's first steps and we even fished alongside the hippos! I could go on and on. Each drive blew me away. As for the accommodation, the website doesn't do it justice. It's a small and intimate setting set alongside a beautiful sand river. The lavish huts are extremely spacious and decked out with beautiful furniture. The bed is comfy and you can enjoy a tipple of sherry (complimentary) before hitting the sheets. The bathroom is massive and the shower is bliss, not to mention the bath tub. There's also lots of bench space...More
