Days Inn solved the 3 problems immediately (eg no TV changer in room, refrigerator not cooling, a pen with no ink), but a great hotel does not have these problems in the first place! The breakfast was much better (ie more protein) than last stay 3 years ago. One shortcoming: they had no maps of the city with main streets on it.

This hotel is in a good location, close to I-10, restaurants, grocery store, bars. The room was clean and was all we needed for an overnight.
The breakfast was good, the breakfast area clean and tidy. We would recommend this hotel.

Front desk was helpful and friendly upon Check in. Even made us fresh coffee. Room was comfortable and clean.
