This place was most welcome after a long drive. The staff was pleasant yet professional, and the room was quiet, clean, and everything worked just fine. It was pricey though--$200 for a standard room for two. I don’t think that’s far from the town’s going price, but still…
But there IS one minor thing—and I have recently posted this for other on-the road-hotels: the generic breakfast fixings were poor. Things simply weren’t cared for as one would expect. And the quality of everything—from bread to rolls to soggy meat to (powdered?) eggs was weak. A bowl of cheerios seems to be the default breakfast. C’mon, how much does it take to improve on THAT?!
p.s. that little steak house/restaurant across the street far exceeded expectations for dinner. Good spot.
