About 1 km from the Market and on the main Tran Hung Dao Street, this little spot is as unpretentious as they come for western marketed eating spots.
We each had 3 courses, a coconut each, 3 of their kalamansi daiquiri's (which are strong enough to put hairs on your chest) and a hot Vietnamese coffee at a grand total of 915,000 VND ($54 SGD or £30 GBP).
What we ate :
- Appetisers : Beef Tongue and Duck Pate (both pretty good).
- Mains : Duck Confit and Pork Teriyaki (Big portions - pork was pretty epic but the duck was a little dry).
- Dessert : Chocolate Brownie (tasty but dry).
It wasn't the best food we ate in Phu Quoc and the place has little to no ambience (its one of those spots that would fill with backpackers in high season) but we left nice and tipsy and with full bellies. All things considered, a friendly and pretty tasty spot with a central(-ish) location and massive bang for your buck!
