This hotel is lovely and although a little rough around the edges, I think that is its charm.
The entrance is on the back streets and my main gripe is the cabbies hitting their horns every 60 seconds. They do so to warn cars coming the other way, but if you are near the road then you get the warning as well.
Otherwise the rooms are great. The bathrooms are a little too big! Bed was comfy. The pool area is nice and the restaurant does surprisingly well. It doesn't look much but they accomplish a fair amount.
If the location was a little closer to the main street I'd go back, just get a room away from the cabs. they weren't bad at night it must be said.More
