We took the opportunity as summer slips away to visit the ever popular Chapmans Peak hotel in Hout Bay.
The view is truly spectacular all crimson reds as the sun sets. We chose to sit inside as it was chilly in the cosy restaurant.
My husband had the Portuguese steak which he said was delicious. I had a mixed platter of prawns and calamri. The prawns were sweet and succulent served with hand cut chips. Our friends had the vegetarian pasta which was also excellent. The service was very efficient. White linen table cloths and napkins add a touch of class. Prices are a bit high but with the service good food and views it's worth the trip.More
