Excellent rooms and the staff can't do enough for you. We weren't feeling too well on the first day and they ordered us a pizza from the Italian restaurant a stone's throw from the hotel and brought us plates, cutlery and napkins. They even washed and ironed for us.

The position of the hotel is perfect. You can get to the wine tram booth in less than a couple of minutes and fall back into your room afterwards although it might take longer depending on how much you've drunk.

The wine tram being so close by is either an absolute pleasure or curse because as you say "depending on how much you've drunk" but it is a fantastic way to discover the various wines, galleries and estates in the area.

We are so happy Franschhoek and our hotel offered a memorable stay and exploration of the winelands.

Wishing you a fantastic year ahead and hope to see you again in 2018, or sooner.

Best,
Llewellyn & FBH Team

Interesting venue with only a few rooms. Perfect if you are looking for a comfortable room just off the high street, as a base for one, maximum 2 nights. Lacking outdoor space and a pool which would have been great given how hot Franschhoek can get. Room lovely but missing some essentials like water.

Wonderful place to stay. Very modern and spacious. Also very laid back and small. 6 rooms by my count on upper level. Breakfast doesn't start till 8 but were very willing to accommodate earlier breakfasts for us.

Not there to watch tv but tv operation a little weird. Nice fan to circulate air. Wonderful tip to soak in (didn't use).

Great stay for 3 nights.

Hotel is located in the Centre close to good restaurants and sights. Rooms are are comfortable and high end with excellent views that one would appreciate in Franschhoek. The hotel reception area which doubles as a breakfast room is functional and what you would expect to find at a business hotel but lacks ambiance. Also of moderate irritation was the adjacent large construction site which we were informed on arrival only makes noise from 8:00 to 5 weekdays. These things do happen. Breakfast was fair as was the service though the nice reception lady who doubles as the sole table service did get somewhat overwhelmed when four couples were seated for breakfast. Not surprisingly. The discounted online tariffs still left me feeling afterwards that I had paid to much for this stay over.

The bed and cushions are very comfortable, the amenity is good, free good wines in the fridge. The room is modern and practical. Breakfast is ok. The view from the window is very nice. It's very convenient and quiet apart from the dog at a neighbouring property who barks in the morning. Other than that it's a super location.
