Reubins at Chamonix. We had no idea that Reubins were at Chamonix. We booked lunch for 2 adults and 2 children on yellow line wine tram.

Food was good but I won't rave about it as there are many great restaurants in the area. Albeit that the pork belly was delicious. The crackling was not crackling it was soft. Even as an amateur but enthusiastic cook my pork belly is far better. Kiddies menu ok. Would I go back? NO TOO MANY OTHER GOOD OPTIONS AVAILABLE.

Thank Oobe

Had heard good things about Reuben's but was rather disappointed. While the presentation was good, taste was average. Not what I expected, given the reputation and price. I would suggest giving it a skip - better food elsewhere.

This place came highly recommended but based, I believe, on its previous location in Huguenot Street. There was no real atmosphere so was disappointing in that respect. We had starters and main courses which were served and eaten within an hour. Far to quick. The food however was good (the pork belly was outstanding - probably the best we'd ever eaten) but for us it has to be a balance of food and ambience. For that reason we wouldn't return. However, good value in terms of price - equivalent of 50 sterling for two courses, a bottle of decent wine for two.

Not quite up to the previous high quality and ambience prior to relocation from Huguenot Street. Bar staff training and optical impression not really acceptable.

Service was good, the restaurant and setting, has lovely views... food however slightly average compare to what we had sampled in our two week stay in South Africa!
