Dined here with a colleague. Had a lovely dinner. The menu was quite extensive and the food was delicious. The place was busy and it was a little noisier than I like but overall it was a lovely experience. The service was also fairly good.

My GF and I enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. It almost didn't happen. Last week I had made reservations not knowing it was for the day after. When we walked in at 5:30, the hostess informed us that they were starting to close. Fortunately, they took pity on us, and the sous chef prepared our meals as it was the first dish to be served that day.

It was a pre-fix menu with several options for each course including the classics that are typically served for Thanksgiving - pumpkin soup, turkey and all the fixins, etc. My GF and I each had different dishes and tasted each one. My GF went for the traditional while I had the mushroom galette followed by a strip loin with a topping of black olives and mushrooms. All were delicious. The pumpkin pie with a roasted marshmallow was out of this world.

This is the second meal we have had this year at the Summit House, and each time, we came out saying this is as good as any restaurant in NYC and NJ. The train station is a mere 5 minute walk away. They do have corkage if interested in bringing your own. They make excellent cocktails as well, and the shops in Summit are worth exploring.

Went week of thanksgiving on that Tuesday. Definitely need reservations, as we did for 8:30 and the place was still full. Good service, good drinks, good food! A little loud but for a place this busy it’s expected. Make sure you have time to eat as no one isn’t in Any rush here to move you along. Apps, main and splitting a dessert was almost 3 hours. You will how ever need to ask for more drinks as the wait staff doesn’t recognize an empty glass. But all in all a fantastic place and must go!!

The front of the restaurant is more of a bar scene, but can also be a nice dining spot. The rear of the restaurant is opened to the kitchen and you can see directly into the kitchen which is exposed in its entirety. That's a very cool feature. Menu is one page, and the entree selection is somewhat limited.Sometimes the addition of the odd ingredients works - but sometimes it doesn't. The ice cream/sorbet was dicey. The apple tart and chocolate pudding desserts were outstanding. These were definitely the highlights of the meal. The salmon was good - nothing negative to say, but not memorable either. You are offered complimentary tap or still water.

Went with friends to this establishment for brunch. The decor is attractive and the front of the restaurant is bright and cheery. We waited a loooong time for our food after placing our orders. On the other hand, wait staff was friendly and courteous. We all liked our food choices, which included poached eggs, oat pancakes and a burger, with a side of potatoes to share for the table. All in all, it was a good experience.
