Great little diner oozing with charm and great food. The biscuits and gravy were delicious as well as the French toast.

A classic NJ diner in downtown Summit. Go in with the expectations of a small, quaint, crowded, noisy place with character and that's what you get. If you sit at counter, you can talk with the owner who's been there for more than 50 yeas also. Fun and charming.
The food itself is typical American breakfast/lunch fare. Eggs, bacon, corned beef hash, toast, burgers, etc. Simple food and simple choices prepared old school. Yes, greasy. But delicious, too and with huge portions. Very reasonably priced.
Would recommend from the experience alone.
real old dinner stainless steel out side counter and booths the breakfast is great taylor ham and egg to die for
This greasy spoon has been in Summit for what seems like forever, and is a good place to grab breakfast by yourself or with a friend. Too small and cramped for a group meal, grab a seat at the bar and order some eggs and toast. Good food and ambiance
Breakfast is served. Get here early for breakfast or you will wait. The pancakes are fluffy. The eggs are done the way you like them with or without breakfast meats. I like the omelets filled with veggies and cheese. Coffee is strong and plentiful. It's a small silver diner car- and brings back so many memories of diners. A gem right in the heart of Summit within walking distance of the train.
