Johnson Park is a wide, skinny green space that winds along the Raritan River. A bike path runs the length of the park. There are man-made ponds, sports fields, a horse track, and even a zoo and a restored village. There are plenty of picnic spots and clean restrooms. What I would have expected from a park that runs along a river is a trail/path along the water, but it only goes along the river in a few spots. The zoo is a bit underwhelming (deer, llama, pigs, goats, chickens, peacocks, turkeys, rabbits..), but would be fun for young kids. It wasn't a particularly fun place to "explore," but I think it would be a great place to run/jog/bike!
