Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights in this "hotel" for our family of 8, didn't have time to review other hotels because we were in a rush. The moment I stepped in the "lobby", I knew it's going to be a rough night, but we were even more surprised by what we found in the rooms.

1st Room - to mask the smell, they must have splashed cheap perfume all over the room.
2nd Room - smells like weeds, my mom-in-law was not able to sleep at all.

Disgusting and terrible, still too mild to describe this place. We arrived at 12 midnight and we don't have any choice so we decided to stay for the night, I put a chair under the lock for extra protection, and on the other room they took rotation to sleep and stand guard. We left early next morning to go to another hotel. The management said we cannot cancel the next night so we ended up leaving our payment to them. We called hotel.com to complain and they gave us $150 credit for our next booking, apparently, they've already received too many complaints about the place.

Disgusting room, had 3PM check out paid 50 extra and 90 Indian people banging on my door at 11am with a hammer and won't stop calling the room phone, Non smoking room smelled like piss and mildew these people don't even wash the damn blankets just sheets. Please becareful with these disgusting rude people.

Poor staff, clean room ,no maps ,good shuttle to times square. breakfast was meager. TV channels didn't match guide. Toilet leaked water onto floor ,maint did not fix. step down to office was not painted yellow

Room Tip: 1st floor rooms away from highway are quieter

If you value cleanliness and a general feeling if well being I would avoid this hotel. The room smelled bad and clearly has never been updated. Everything from the door chain to the lampshade was broken.

We arrived at night so it was late. Although the surrounding neighborhood looked sketchy, we didn't feel unsafe. The check in was quick and we were given friendly service. A large number of rooms are at the top of a very steep hill and the only ice machine was at the bottom of the hill...so grab your ice BEFORE you go to your room. The rooms weren't all that clean but if you need a place to hang your hat for a night or two...this will do. The breakfast was very disappointing. We didn't eat. We arrived at 9:30 am and the food was picked over and not replenished. The only real problem we had was on our bill, it had a $1.75 charge and when I inquired they said it was a safe fee. I told them that I didn't ask for a safe nor use a safe so the lady gave a refund but its shouldn't have been on the bill. Most people wouldn't complain about 1.75 but if they do that to all customers (by accident....yeah right!)...they stand to make over 30,000.00 per year! Sad! The unwarranted safe fee was a huge turn-off. Room did have a mini-frig and it was nice and cold.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the LOWER level because there is no ice machine for the rooms on the hill.
