I had a chance to walk around the Glasstown Arts District of Millville and can tell a lot is developing in this small town. The Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts is more of a large gallery space that sells the work of smaller artists and displays their art work with the utmost care. I loved the work of the handmade stuffed animals and Christmas ornaments that were displayed by the windows. The nice part is that the prices are not very expensive. A nice place to visit when you are in town.

Wonderful downtown location and great lighting are features of this local gallery. Paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, etc are lovingly displayed and are available for purchase. The RRCA is a great fixture of the Millville community and true to its mission of supporting local art and artists.

Great venue for show casing the talents of artists fro South Jersey and beyond. Exhibits change monthly. Artists ' talks are nice as are Tuesdays with Tricia cinema viewing. There are art classes for children and adults. At the third Friday openings, one may catch a glimpse of the NJ Art laureate Pat Witt.

The RRCA brings together the work of primarily southern New Jersey artists, providing them with a showcase and offering visitors the opportunity to purchase original art, much of it with local themes. Exhibits change monthly, and openings are held on the third Friday of each month, when other galleries and shops also promote their wares in the downtown area. Several restaurants are available for dining before or after your visit.
