Wanted to try a good Jewish deli, and this did hit the spot, good service and food, in fact the pastrami was so good we took some home on the airplane

Probably the best Reuben and pastrami sandwiches you will ever eat in your life. One of the highlights of any NY trip. The food is heavy and sits in your tummy for a couple hours though. Very nice experience!!!

This was the fourth time back in the last three months. Pastrami, corned beef, knishes everything was tastefully prepared and service was amazing. A REAL TREAT!

Five adults went there for dinner but make sure you’re there before 7 pm because that is when they close. The coleslaw, pickles and macaroni salad are very good. The food is so-so. The potato pancakes and knishes are not made to order, are pre made and heated.

I think this has changed hands since the last time we were there.

They don’t have many wait people and the waitress we had was horrible. There was only 1 other couple there and she couldn’t remember what we ordered and looked like she’d rather be anywhere else.

I agree with the other review; with all the great deli’s in the area. I’d travel a little further into downtown Livingston and eat at one of those.

Really torn here because for me this was just a random find from a cell phone while looking for a deli for lunch on a shopping trip in the Livingston area. The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly but far too slow. The prices were high - $50 plus for 2 sandwiches, fries, and 3 diet Cokes. The third $2.95 coke would have usually been free anywhere else as it was just a fountain refill. All that aside I had the best Reuben I've ever had. My wife had the turkey club and the turkey was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the other half of her sandwich for lunch the next day as it was a lot for anyone to eat by themselves. The free sides of pickles and cole slaw were a nice touch and also delicious. Bottom line - if you're going to charge those kinds of prices you have to provide exceptional service. Go for the food - it might make you dismiss the shortcomings.
