This is our go to for sushi, and sashimi. The fish is fresh and beautifully presented. The original owner was trained in Japan and when he sold the business we worried that the new owners would never match him for the quality and style of the food. Thankfully we were wrong. Although they gave in and added novelty rolls like spicy tuna, and Philly cream cheese Rolls etc., they have kept true to the original Japanese style. They offer Natto rolls (fermented bean paste with tuna) a delicacy not offered by a lot of the fusion Japanese places around the area. Uni with quail egg is always terrific. And if you have friends who don't care for sushi you can still indulgence while they order one of the cooked dishes. Their pork tankatsu and yakiudon noodle dishes are cooked to perfection. They really are stars in the kitchen and at the sushi bar.
