Description: "A flawlessly designed eating and drinking complex that looks both industrial and luxurious." Situated on the Hudson with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, Battello offers an unforgettable culinary experience featuring a contemporary Italian based, seafood-influenced menu designed by one of New Jersey's top culinary masters, Chef Ryan DePersio. Battello takes its design clues from the neighboring marina, with a touch of rustic welcoming elegance that is both industrial and luxurious. Much of the marina-inspired decor is salvaged, including the rowboat hanging above the entrance and the brass yacht lanterns affixed to the walls. Floor to ceiling windows on three sides of the dining room effortlessly open up, providing a haven for dockside dining and cocktails during warmer months and electrifying views of lower Manhattan.

The food at Battello's is very good and tasty. I liked the views of Manhattan. They have enough open seating space where you are not sitting right on top of each other.
However, I would suggest that they could have just a few more lunch choices on their menu.

Always impressed with the view and the Food Specials.
A little to noisey at times but worth the occasional lunch or dinner. Try it, when it reopens, ask me then. Thanks.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant! Great for anniversaries, birthdays, or other special occasions. Food was very pricey but good. Great view of the NYC skyline.

We visited early on a Thursday evening as we had the kids with us. It is not really a kids place but they made us very welcome. Very cool location with views of Manhattan from front of restaurant. We were seated in back but still contemporary. Food was really good. Fresh made pasta and plenty of seafood options. Service efficient and friendly. Reasonably prices given location and quality. Would certainly recommend.

There are so many choices on the menu, we love the Seafood Tower for our appetizer, and the Bucatini Di Mare is awesome, also Panchetta Wrapped Scallops are just delicious.. just too many delicious choices to name.. the service and view are the best part of the dining experience..
