We frequently stay at Hilton properties tending to the Garden Inn brand because of the quality of the rooms, the better breakfast items, and the ambience for a smaller hotel. We stayed this night (11/5/16) on the way home from a very emotional memorial service. Our reserved room was over the courtyard patio where a reunion party was in full swing. Not good for quiet and emotional rest. The young lady (Alexis I believe) on the desk was EXTREMELY understanding and accommodating in arranging for a room change. Unfortunately we got placed next to a room where young children were left unattended. They were quite noisy and rambunctious. We had to call the front desk for intervention.
The other unfortunate experience was loud talking by guests as they walked the hall after the 11 pm hour. We recommend placing discrete signs reminding guests to be courteous and mindful of the needs of their fellow travelers.More
