They had me at the pumpkin spice coffee, but this place continued to impress with any breakfast you want: French toast, pancakes, eggs and omelettes, fruit and toast. Friendly, efficient, popular and a line of eaters who are waiting for a seat once you leave!

Ewing is not known known for cuisine or dining. There is an excess of poor-to-average pizza, some genuinely terrible Asian restaurants, and some diners that should be reinspected by the health department. CAFE 72 is the exception. Delicious, thoughtful food in a friendly, almost hip environment. Innovative sandwiches and breakfast fare make the waits (frequent) tolerable.

I had read the reviews and decided to take our granddaughter there for brunch. We had a 40 minute wait, but it was worth it. The menu was so extensive. There was something for every taste, from breakfast to lunch. We shared the lemon ricotta donuts which were wonderful. I had the Cuban sandwich which was so big I could only eat half. It was just as good for lunch the next day. My granddaughter had the eggs benedict which she really enjoyed while my husband had the turkey Rachel, also excellent. Service was excellent even though the waitress certainly had her hands full as every table was occupied. We will certainly be back.

Luckily stumbled upon this place while visiting family in the area. Great place to stop by for a quick decently priced breakfast. Only downside is lack of seating and space around busier lunch hours
