We spent NYE here - it was our second visit. Each time, the room was very clean, smelled good, and came with complimentary wine of champagne. Bed very comfortable and jacuzzi was relaxing. Jets not very strong, but it's private and roomy. The free breakfast offers a nice selection of items. For the price (regular room) you can't beat it. We plan on going back next time we need a relaxing mini getaway.

I tried to stay in the Treasure Island room for my honeymoon, but I had to leave. The room was dirty, the fireplace was broken and the water pressure in the shower was a trickle. The worst part was the bed; it felt like the original mattress from when the place opened. It was so soft it was not good for sleep or anything else. A waste of $195.00!
Beware if you choose the Natural Cave. It is directly under Treasure Island, which has squeaky hard wood floors.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, but, quite frankly, we have no record of you staying with us in that room. No complaint, no honeymoon reservation for that room, so all that is left for me is to answer your review.

Fireplace. If pilot has gone out, we will come up to your room and re-light the pilot, but more often than not, the customer doesn't see the switch on the fireplace.

Water pressure. Is always at a high due to all of our jacuzzi's unless a water main break occurs out in the street. A water main break has not happened in the last several months.

Mattress is 2 years old, not lumpy or in bad shape. It is however, the smallest mattress at the hotel due to the fact that the theme is being in a ship and the mattress in fact is in the shape of a ship. We do warn our customers of the small mattress.

Creaky floors. All sub floors are 6" of concrete. The fact that we built a deck to mirror a ships deck or act like a ships deck, that would be a little creaky, would not affect below noise level.

As far as the room being dirty, how can I tell, I don't know when or if you stayed with us.

So, if you stayed with us, give me a call. I will be happy to speak with you and rectify any problems.

i read a lot of bad/sketchy reviews about this place so i went on a hope and a prayer. all in all, i think it was wonderful! We went for NYE and it was about $500 for two nights. Here's a few extra details:

location/appearance: do not be deterred by the outward appearance; it kinda looks like a seedy 2-level motel. it's not dirty but it's not the Marriott either. the front desk employee was very nice and super helpful when it came to navigating the area. check in was quick/easy. they take an imprint of your credit card for incidentals...may need to step up their equipment a bit. when was the last time someone did a credit card imprint?? Also, this hotel is about a 5 minute drive to Cherry Hill Mall, which has some decent eateries. It's also a 15 minute drive to downtown Philly IF you're willing to pay tolls - avoid the tolls and you're looking at an 1 hr and 30 minute drive.

Room: the Treehouse fantasy suite is upstairs on the back side of the complex. no elevator so be aware. in my opinion this is the best room there - there are tree branches and (fake) flowers everywhere; a nature lovers dream! all the others looked decent but nothing spectacular. Ice cave is a close second and Blue Lagoon is bringing home third - i know this because when the rooms aren't occupied, they keep the blinds up so you can see everything, which brings me to my next point - PULL YOUR WHITE BLINDS DOWN FOR PRIVACY!

*There was a faint smell of smoke when we first opened the door and there's an ashtray in the room so i'm assuming you can smoke in there. it wasn't super bad and we didn't really notice it after a minute or two.
*when you first walk in there's a light switch by the door to turn on some relaxing music - i think there are 4 or 5 songs that loop.
*we let it play all day/night. there isn't a real closet, just a small cubby space where you can hang up two coats and maybe store a small suitcase.
*the bed is large and the mattress is a firm but comfortable memory foam. the covers are very heavy so we weren't cold thru the night. there are lights that shine down on the bed and a mirror overhead - nice touch. if you close the bathroom doors there are mirrors there too that overlook the bed...
*there's a fireplace but be careful because the black switchplate (? not sure what to call it) is loose so i yanked it off when i turned it on.
*there IS a minifridge! it's underneath the sink that's outside of the bathroom - looks like brown crates. we didn't find it until the second day.
*the whirlpool is lovely and super large/long. we're 5'9 and we sat side by side and stretched out with room to spare. there are lights and mirrors overhead as well as mirrors on the sides.
*there's a little wicker table and two chairs - my advice: DO NOT sit your raw butt on those chairs. the cushions are stained with...fluids...and looks like they haven't been washed in ages. so we put towels down whenever we sat. there are mirrors here too.
*the bathroom is basic; sink, toilet, shower. the wallpaper is dated but *shrug* who cares. the shower is large with two seats in it. the showerhead is broken, meaning it doesn't move at different angles the way it should but it still works - water pressure is perfect.
*free wifi and several free porn channels (sound quality isn't super great tho). they also have normal TV stations so don't think that's you're only option.

If you're a super picky person and you expect perfection, don't waste your time because you can find a ton of faults if you really wanted to. but if you can keep an open mind and you're looking for something different and romantic, check it out.

This was our second time visiting this hotel for couples. We had the Manhattan room. It was very clean and cozy. Very spacious and romantic. The bed was comfy and huge. The jacuzzi top was amazing with the whirlpool jets. The late check out(11:00) and complimentary breakfast was a bonus also. We will absolutely return and try out a different theme suit. (These pictures are the room, I put the candles and rose petals)

I contacted Feather Nest Inn immediately after leaving an unsafe situation at a neighboring motel. After getting lost and Baltimore and having to drive to another county in New Jersey, my 5 hour road trip had turned into nine and a half hours. The evening clerk, Stephen, did a fabulous job of staying on the phone to give me directions to ensure that I arrived at their establishment safely. Sensing that I was very nervous he assured me and ensured that I had accommodations in close proximity to the main office. In the morning I contacted the manager, Joe, to request a later checkout so I could get my strength back. Joe was extremely courteous and accommodating. I was grateful to have a hot cup of coffee and fresh donuts to greet me in the lounge area before getting back on the road.
