“Beautiful park right on the ocean with great trails”

The lighthouse and park are a great place to walk along the beach and see wildlife. In March it was free, too.

“kinda bummed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

We visited the area on a Tuesday, it was closed. Sign says tours on Sat/Sun. We were pretty bummed, but we hit the beach instead. I love lighthouses, but this one did seem small. I did get some great pictures of it at night with the sunset.

“Sunny March Day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2012

Amazing that we have vacationed on the Jersey shore our entire lives, and this was our first visit to the Lighthouse. It was a crisp March Monday, and the winds were strong, but the area around the lighthouse is gorgeous. I liked the friendly nature of the park ranger who assisted with facts about the lighthouse and area. The musuem is cute, and they keep track of all raptures in the area - amazing the amoung of turkey buzzards and hawks were enjoying the wind! I recommend a trip just down the road to Sunset Beach also!
