This place is always busy and it is because of the food and very good service. Always clean, always helpful, and always gets it right.

My family eats here somewhat regularly during the school year. It’s a good place for various family members (and friends) to gather every couple of weeks for a meal. While the ambience is nothing special, we have always found everything to be clean and, overall, our experiences have been satisfactory. Even though the menu is just as lengthy as you expect at an N.J. diner, we have generally had more “Hits” than we have “Misses” (ex. Miss = pierogies / Hit = anything breakfast related). Since their prices are consistent with what you would pay for groceries if you were preparing the meal at home yourself, it’s a nice place to get together where nobody has to plan, shop, cook or serve a meal to please the group. Best of all - no cleanup! The one thing we all wish they had that they do not is a liquor license (or BYOB).

Very busy basic diner with an extensive menu. Food is typical for a Jersey diner - decent. It seems to be very busy all of the time, but the wait time is usually short. They have had a difficult time accommodating my large (about 20) family when we have met there for breakfast a few times. The service is friendly.

Standard-issue Jersey diner. Service is adequate, food ok and sometimes with large portions. Don't expect flexibility on specials - what's printed on the menu is the special (even if you don't want the gravy or the soup). On a positive note if you ask for steak medium-well that's what you'll actually get.

Located just off the Somerville Circle on the access road to Rte 202/206, we haven't been here in a while since it's always crowded but we were with friends one evening during an off period and decided to stop by. The menu and food is still good, most prices reasonable and you still get a lot. The staff was friendly but the service was slow which shouldn't happen when the place is not busy and half empty. The fire alarm went off for about 45 minutes which was annoying, none of the managers came by to apologize but they did comp our party with free desserts for the inconvenience. Parking is very limited during peak hours.
