Recently moved to the area and discovered this priceless restaurant. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and of course talking with Dominic (owner/chef) over a nice glass of Sambuca topped the evening. This place is a must go to. Make a reservation you won't be sorry

Nicki and Dominic are the gracious hosts/owners of this fabulous little BYOB restaurant. Food comes out hot, fresh, consistently delicious, perfectly sized portions, and is fairly priced. (The Chicken Frangelica is a must try) We we're going so often it was a little embarrassing! You'll need a reservation because it's always packed. Bring a bottle of your favorite wine and take the time to try this gem of a restaurant.

What can you say about this unassuming strip mall "Gourmet Italian" restaurant on old RT 88 in Brick Town other than WOW. Arrive to plenty of parking and the only place open in this mall and although reservations are a must as this is always busy, our 7:30 P.M. time slot is honored. Very nice bright clean classy layout with half stone wall modern design with nice waterfall on the back wall, while the front seating is buy the windows overlooking the parking lot.

Seated and fresh hot crusty bread brought in from Brooklyn daily is delivered with both Olive Oil mix dip and butter. Our server we find out later is the owner's wife as she delivers our specials opens our BYOB wine (A GREAT NJ THING) and explains the menu and any questions we may have. It is straight forward Italian with various appetizers, salads, specials, pastas and chops in short something for everyone.

We start out with two appetizers.
The 1st Firecracker shrimp sautéed with hot & sweet vinegar peppers with white wine, capers sauce. In Short this was unbelievably good $13.00 4 nice shrimp in a sauce that was so rich and tasty, this over some angel hair as an entrée would be unbelievable.
2nd was a batch of long hot peppers in a Romano Cream Sauce. $12.00 well as a fan of "Long Hots" adding this to a sauce that was so rich, tasty & Creamy made me rethink my way of making these peppers. Absolutely delicious.

We ordered two entrees the bone on Chicken Savoy $24.00 which comes with choice of pasta or Salad or potatoes & vegetables. We went with the salad so they brought that out next. An Organic Mescun Salad that was really outstanding. When the Chicken arrived it was 4 pieces in a vinegar sauce that really accented the skin on dark meat chicken. Quite close to the infamous Belmont tavern in preparation and presentation.

The homemade Cavatelli with Ricotta cheese in Sunday Gravy was as good as it gets. Handmade pasta on a whole is impossible to be cooked Al Dente so flavor and portion size were excellent. $18.00

With no room for Desert the owner Dominick came out and introduced himself and chatted for a few minutes then with no room provided us with a piece of complimentary Chocolate something imported chocolate from Italy. Absolutely delicious.

Service was excellent all night and balance of price points, ambiance, BYOB and of course taste and food quality make this one of, if not they #1 place at the NJ Shore. If they were every closer to the beach you would never get in here. BRAVO this was truly a winner.

Nice cozy place. The food was too salty the pasta was cooked too much. They also have a bug problem which is never good around food. I'll stick with Spanos my Italian restaurant.

My husband and I went in on a Friday night at about 5:05pm.the owner's wife greeted us and asked if we had a reservation.we said no and her response was you will be done by 6:30 right?i would have rather her turn us away because then we wouldn't have experienced the reason we are never going back there!the lady pouring the water was very cordial but the owner's wife was rushing our food out.i have never seen someone's dinner and appetizers come out so fast!the owner's wife was making sure we were out of there by 6:30 come hell or high water!my husband ordered chicken scarpello and I ordered stuffed shrimp.this restaurant raves about how you have to wait a little bit for your meals because it's made fresh!my husband cut into his chicken and it was lukewarm inside!i don't know if anyone knows what that means but my husband does!it wasn' made fresh!it was maybe made sometime that day and heated!!!!!!!we could not wait to get out of there!we obviously felt not wanted!i don't like eating a dinner like that!whether it's good or not good!you would think the owner's wife would read a couple of her reviews and learn to keep her mouth shut!we were there Friday July 28th,2017 if that helps the owner's wife at all to either turn people without a reservation away or seat them and be quiet!!!!!
