Luncheon for 20+ guests in private upstairs room was excellent. Service impeccable, food fresh, amazing wine cellar and point on presentation. If you’ve never been, try it!!!

We eat out 100 times a year, and at some of the best restaurants in the greater NYC market. Been to Pluckemin Inn maybe 25 times. Food is always good. Service is always good. Wine selection is always good. But, the espresso always sucks. It tastes like weak, leftover coffee. We've been served great espresso on the autostrada in Italy. For god's sake, if a rest stop on the equivalent of the GSP can serve great espresso, why can't Pluckemin Inn. If you can't (won't) figure out how to make good espresso, just don't offer it. Lousy espresso at the end of the meal brings the whole experience down a few notches.

The Plucky, has become the Go-To place, for special intimate moments in life and signifiant business meetings, whether it is for lunch or dinner. This place is crisp but softly elegant. They make you feel elegant whether you are in flip flops or dressed.

Pluckemin Inn has a lot of charm and some delicious choices that give off a farm to table vibe as the food is typically fresh and in season. We were in the bar, and I had the butter lettuce salad with blue cheese, roasted casherws and a light vinaigrette dressing - it was delicious. Then I had the burger which comes with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles which was very good also. It did come with fries, and those were just ok. If you sit in the bar (and there are tables in there), that gives you the flexibility to order off the bar menu and regular menu. The items I ordered were on the bar menu (although you can ask if you're able to order them in the main dining area). They tend to get pretty booked up - I suggest making a reservation or taking a chance and trying for a seat at the bar. On a Wed night they had nothing in the main dinining room, and we got the last little table at the bar. Looking forward to coming back.

This is a really nice place which is modern, but retains historical feel. Good bar scene. Food is good as well.
