We spent 2 quiet nights at the Sugar Hill Inn in mid-January. We found the inn charming and cozy and felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Inn keeper, Steve, greeted us upon arrival and showed us the grounds before escorting us to our room (the Brickford suite) which was complete with a large corner hottub, propane fire place and espresso machine.
We enjoyed a fantastic 4 course meal in the dining room and weren't surprised to see the culinary awards displayed on the wall. The food was outstanding (a find dining experience worth your time when you're in the area) and the course breakfasts each morning were also wonderful.
We particularly loved that the breakfast menu changed daily and was dated each day! We also loved the games room and the scotch bar with a wide selection of scotch and bourbons. Steve was very helpful in suggesting activities for us during our stay as well as recommending a great local brew pub to visit while we were in the area.
Overall, we would certainly recommend this Inn to anyone visiting the area and we would love to return again.More
