Always the best, cooked quick and just as I ordered. Thrilled have them here. Good community spirit also.

I work in Salem now so I am on the hunt for a really good pizza. I tried this place and the pizza was good but average.
My grandaughter recently had her 5th grade concert at the SHS. Of course we didnt know till the day of the concert. After the concert we were all in agreement that we'd go to Romano's for pizza. Monday and Tuesday you can get a large cheese pizza for 5.99. Phil and I met my dauhgter, son in law and three grandkids there. Two puzzas on with cheese and the other with pepperoni for $2 more and mozarella sticks easily fed the seven of us, no fighting over last slice. The most expensive thing were the drinks the kids had. We had a great time and Angelina's concert was fantastic.
This place is known for huge sandwiches and reasonably priced pizza. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they offer a Cheese Pizza for $5.99 plus tax. It's mobbed with customers and very chaotic. This place is always filled with "regulars" who know a good deal when it's offered. You have to pickup the Cheese Pizza for that price. No one seems to mind since customers are just about lined up out the door. If you want to add a topping, you can. Romano's will just charge extra for the topping of your choice.
One of the best submarine sandwiches that they are known for is their GIGANTIC & DELICIOUS STEAK AND CHEESE, which can be shared with 2 other people! Romano's also offers "steak tip and cheese". My husband likes this sandwich as well as the regular steak and cheese. You should like almost anything that they offer on their menu, which is reasonably priced.
The original owner still owns the place. He employs a huge number of workers. He has to just to keep up with the busy pace of the orders coming in by phone and walk-ins. There are about a dozen tables if you want to eat in. We always seem to get our orders to go.
Romano's is very consistent with their quality and quantity of food. We did order an antipasto to go with our $5.99 cheese pizza one Monday night and found it to be just okay. Nothing special. It's too bad they don't bump it up a notch to make a great antipasto. It would be an improvement over the one we ordered. Haven't ordered another one since.
The help is terrific and very friendly even though they are "bombed with orders". They always take the time to be pleasant to their customers.
You won't be disappointed in the value at Romano's. There is a reason why this place is almost always lined up out the door when most pizza and sub places that compete with them are not. They are the busiest place in town as far as PIZZA AND SUB SHOPS GO! They are known for cranking out the food FAST! (So, you won't have to wait too long before you're heading out the door with your food. They are fast as far as service goes.)
Just keep in mind that this is excellent fast food. Don't expect a find dining experience. Just expect good, cheap eats! And, who doesn't like that!
