I attended a two day conference with approximately ninety other people. The outside of the hotel looked like a castle but the inside was a disappointment. The carpet needed vacuuming throughout the lobby and hallways. Service at their only restaurant, the Shade was slow and the server was not attentive. We were in the restaurant at 2:30 and there was only one other table with guests. We had a scheduled continental breakfast with a toaster that didn't work. The scheduled luncheon had two meal choices vegetarian or chicken marsala. The vegetarian was okay, but the chicken was dried out. The servers did not seem to have assigned tables and were not helpful. I wouldn't go back to this hotel.
