After doing much searching around for somewhere to stay I came across pemi cabins. I had read other reviews which I found to be much split. Some guest liked the cabins others found many faults. After much back and forth I decided to book a long hiking weekend. I found the places to be very accommodating they are pet friendly and very nice people. Since we weren’t set on what trails to hike after the hurricane the couple in the office helped us out tremendously! They were very knowledgeable on what trails were pet friendly and which were even still open. The cabins we had were 12 and 4 ( we had to switch due to our own late booking and the place was full) Cabin 12 had some flaws dirty couch and a few spider webs in the corner, but had a full kitchen(pots and pans included) clean bathrooms , clean lines and towels . The 2 bed room cabin was a good size the shower was very tiny. But CLEAN! No fire place. The second night we stayed in cabin 4 again very clean smaller shower you cannot shave your legs in there ladies! Cabin 4 had a screened in porch overlooking the river and a fireplaces which was very nice to fall asleep to. Over all I think it was well worth the trip. If your looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it. If your looking to go hiking or hit the mountains, while bring the pets along and still have a clean place to rest your head, pemi is the place. Well definitely go back again! Thank you to the wonderful staff!
