We booked this place for the King bed and balcony room, which was well priced. Without looking much at their website, we were pleasantly surprised at all the amenities they provide. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming. They have fire starter kits and a couple fire pits to use, plus you can get s'mores kits which my boyfriend and I absolutely loved. The fire pit we used was farther from most of the other amenities and lodging, so it felt quite romantic. We also got to play around on a small basketball court which was fun. The room was clean and comfortable, but the AC and heating systems seemed a bit outdated even though they functioned well. We are planning to come back to Lincoln in the fall, and definitely plan on staying here again! The Kangamagus Lodge helped make our mini-vacation getaway wonderful!

Room Tip: King sized bed with balcony rooms feel more private than others

I've stayed at the Kancamagus Lodge twice now, and loved both stays. The owners and couldn't be friendlier - it's always a pleasure interacting with them. The rooms are simple but comfortable and well cared for, and make for a nice home base to return to after a day of hiking. The lodge is ideally suited for exploring the area and doing some day hiking trips.

The s'mores kit and fire pit make for a great night time activity. I didn't try the pool either time, but it's a nice size and looks clean. I've been to Brittany's twice - one for dinner and once for breakfast. The breakfast experience was great. The dinner experience only mediocre - the woman running the place for some reason seemed inconvenienced when we walked in at 6 pm for dinner, despite us being the only ones there. I'd make a point of eating elsewhere based on her attitude.

Overall,l both stays were wonderful. I look forward to returning in the future!

The family that owns this building is extremely friendly and caring. The office is open for 13 hours and the owner even gives you his cell number just in case of an emergency. The rooms are clean and spacious with great balconies. Really great food at the attached bar/restaurant Stephanies too! Not to mention there are basketball courts and a swimming pool. Definitely recommend this place!

Busy couple in need of a relaxing weekend. Place was packed but it was very quiet and relaxing. We went for a nice scenic getaway and got just that. The restaurant serves excellent food! The view of the mountains from our room was breathtaking. As an African American couple we are not always welcomed everywhere, simply because of our color (sadly ) and we LOVE to travel but here we were treated very well by the owners, we will go back! There was so much to do right on the premises that we will be back with the family when it warms up.

Room Tip: Great views from the front side, eat at the great restaurant there, plenty to do on the property!

We took a group of fifty skiing to this resort (Loon) in Easter 2015 and found the motel perfect for our needs. The rooms are great and the level of service is super. Leo and Nicole are very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We were a big group but everything was done in a measured and professional manner. Housekeeping was very good and the food was as you expect in the US - big and good value. The bar is traditional and service is good. What else do you want...?

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony
