After a long day of skiing and possibly wanting to ski again tomorrow we didn't want to drive back to Boston so we were looking for something cheep and close by .... and here it is the landmark inn..... if your looking for luxury and comfort this is not the place for you .... if your looking for a cheep place to crash for the night this place is spot on ..... at check in the lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful .... we headed to our dated room that reeked like stale ciggs, ya its kinda grosse, you can tell this room hasn't been updated since the early 90s..... the TV age and date became the joke of the night .... but for what we paid you cant expect much better anyways the place served it's pourpose....

We needed a place to crash after skiing for 2 nights. The room w got (on the 7th floor) was clean. No bed bugs (I checked). The room did not smell of cigarette smoke, but did not smell fantastic either. Everything was extremely outdated, and yes, they still have metal keys. However, for the price, I felt like it was a great deal.

Room Tip: 7th floor seemed far enough away from the smoking floor to not smell like smoke.

Very sketchy place. Druggie/homeless looking groups hanging out in front and in the parking lot. Old fashioned metal keys that could easily be duplicated. Old clunky TV and furnishings. Smelled smoky. It gets one star because you have to give at least one, but the front desk woman was very friendly. We did not feel safe so we left.

An old fashion hotel with an actual key for room access.

The mattresses were about as soft as cardboard, and the toilet handle had the unfortunate habit of staying depressed, defeating any water savings with their low flow technology.

Breakfast consisted of pastries/toast/bagels and cereal, but the view was decent, he receptionist was very helpful and there was ample parking.

The room was clean and comfortable. The WIFI and the TV were great. The bed was the usual had as the floor motel bed but the linens were clean and comfortable. The staff was nice. We had a nice view from our hotel window of the river, it was beautiful at sunset. On the 5th floor it was nice and quiet, very little road noise except for the fire sirens. Breakfast in the morning was pastries, coffee, juice and fruit. We would stay here again if we were to head north.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less road noise.
