We had three tapas and drinks for the night. The Cloud 9 shrimp was amazing. I loved the sauce. The highlight was the bread pudding for dessert. I usually do not like bread pudding but this was incredible. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Our Inkeepers set up our reservations and were very excited to hear our review of this restaurant. Can't provide one as we were asked to exit the tavern and wait in the parking lot. We were told there was no room at the bar, no room in the small entrance way, or anywhere else inside. The owner appeared annoyed that we arrived early (we thought we could begin with a drink and relax before dining) he let us know IF we stayed inside, we'd back up his reservations. He also informed us he turned others away to accommodate us at 8:00pm. We have NEVER had a dining experience that made us feel so unwelcome. Owner was arrogant, rude, uptight and has no interest in accommodating his customers. We extended him the courtesy of advising him we were leaving. He became abusive & negative.

We have been a customer sense the opening of Tavern 27. Ray and Leslie are wonderful hosts and are a asset to the Lakes Region. They offer American twist to a typical Tapas Restaurant, with larger potations. WE have introduced many friends to the Tavern and now they return on their own The clam chowder if the best and save room for the bread pudding. Many servings are GF.

Great meal! We took a shot in the dark on this restaurant looking for something different and we were very happy we did! The food was terrific, the waitstaff friendly and informative and the building was interesting. The most fun of all was the piano player who came around to talk to everyone and you can text requests! And he was very talented! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We checked our GPS for restaurants, and The Mystic Meadows popped up. When we arrived, the sign said Tavern 27. A bit confused, we pulled into the partially filled parking lot at 2 PM on Sunday afternoon.
The tavern specializes in oversized Tapas. Actually, I suggest you think of each item as an entree unto itself. I ordered a super healthy salad thinking it was a "small bite". Despite the fact that it was excellent, i couldn't eat all of it!!
We met the owner, who was very friendly.
While this was a bit out of our way in terms of our destination, we're glad we stopped there for lunch.

Thank Joyful1
