We so enjoyed our stay of 2 nights at the Inn. Fred and Sandi were so friendly. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We loved the decor of their home. The breakfast and conversation each morning was a treat. It was fun to visit with the other couples staying at the Inn. So much we learned. The best memory was when we arrived after a long day of hiking, we were exhausted! But to meet us at the door was Sandi, welcoming us with scones and cookies!
Please don't ever hesitate to stay at the Maria Atwood Inn.

We stayed at the Maria Atwood Inn last night and just want to say that is was a lovely experience. Innkeepers Sandi and Fred were so very hospitable and their B&B is so distinctive and nicely decorated. In addition to our comfortable rooms and all the amenities, we enjoyed our conversations and the other guests most of all. Sandi's breakfast was memorable - especially the pumpkin scones. Our thanks and best wishes to you.

The Atwood is a very pleasant, traditional bed and breakfast with many positive features. Proprietors, Sandi and Fred, are friendly, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed meeting them. The Inn itself is conveniently located for anyone visiting the NH Lakes region. Our room on ground floor was spacious, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Despite my daily resolution, I could not resist those homemade scones! And some refreshments were always available during the day. Inn is also very clean, and grounds are attractive. Highly recommended!

Great little bed & breakfast with very friendly and responsive owners. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the owners made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor rooms have great ceilings, nice overall space, and private setting.

We spent 2 enjoyable nights while my wife was doing genealogical research on her family. Sandi & Fred welcomed us and quickly made us feel right at home. The Franklin room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent both mornings and Sandi's scones were delicious! She is also helpful with directions around town and we also enjoyed their stories about the inn and the native wildlife. Whether you have work or want to relax, this is the place to come.
