The food at Cara's is so good, it's hard to believe. A good beer selection and comfortable tables and rooms to dine in. The service is never great, but as long as you go into it knowing that then it's worth the food and the wait.

Thank Mary G

A cold beer a taste of Jameson and hot corned beef and cabbage! A perfect day and way to celebrate mom.we sat at the copper bar and soaked in the pub atmosphere set by a fiddler in the background. This year mom and her day will be long remembered

The menu has expand since they opened. It can get very loud depending on the night and what activities are going on (pool, radio live feed, etc). The turkey tips are great! Service is just a notch above average but have never had bad service.

We started with two appetizers - Irish Potato Cakes and Fried Mac & Cheese Bites. We all loved them. They were delicious. I had a Reuben Sandwich that was very good, my husband had the Grilled Chicken BLT that he liked very much and our son had the Meatball Sub that was also excellent. Portions are very generous. Our server seemed to be inexperienced and not too sure of herself. We will definitely be back sometime since the food is what it is all about.

We had a party of 5 on a mid-week night. I had scallops over rice and enjoyed it. Other orders were bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, and some sort of salad. All seemed fine with their meals. The bar is what you'd expect in this sort of restaurant - heavy use of sweet and sour mix (e.g. my margarita used it). I will say my old-fashioned was nicely done (although light on the bitters).

There's a pool table(s?) in the back - so a local crowd seems to dominate. Didn't make us feel uncomfortable though.
