Angelina’s is a world class restaurant-no joke.
Really cool location just down from the main drag. In fact, subterranean space that feels special as soon as you walk through the door.
Menu is extensive with traditional offering, and a substantial number of special dishes.
We ordered the scallops wrapped in prosciutto for one of our appetizers, and it was outstanding (and a bargain at $12 for 6 large scallops). Was large enough for a luncheon entree.
The Tuscan bean soup was also excellent with a rich tomato broth loaded with beans, ditalini, and pancetta. Best I have ever had.
Veal saltimbaca was expertly prepared, and fork tender.
The muscles with spicy marina sauce was were both excellent, and enough for a dinner entree (though we appeared for lunch) especially with the included warm and chewy Italian bread.
Salad or pasta is offered with every entree. And you can add a Bolognaise sauce to any shape of pasta for a small up charge. I did, and the dish was rich, loaded with meat, and exquisite.
We happened to just drive by the sign for Angelina’s, and it looked so cool we just decided to try it. Little did we know it was among the most highly rated restaurants in Concord (no small accomplishment given there are over 125 establishments in town).
Staff was welcoming, and our chef was young and talented.
Would recommend Angelina’s without any reservation whatsoever.

We go almost every week and love the food and service. When you get to be a "regular" they remember all your favorites. Every now and then we have to take a week off because the food is sooooo good we tend to overeat! But then one can always take out the leftovers. And they will even pack up your wine bottle if you prefer not to finish all of it in a stapled bag with a notice on it of when you left the restaurant!

This place one of the BEST kept secrets in Concord. Located in the basement of an historic brick building on a side street, for the casual passerby this restaurant is easy to miss but it is worth searching out. If you have a special occasion to celebrate or want a cozy romantic meal we will find this place a very pleasant surprise with excellent authentic Italian food.

I have been dining at Angelina's for 20 years. The food and service have consistently been the best Concord has to offer. The only negative, it can be hard to get a table. Make a reservation early in the week if you want a table on a Friday or Saturday.

Dined here last night. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Ordered Seafood Fettuccine and Risotto with a bottle of Italian wine. The Salad was fresh and crisp with a tasty dressing. The main course arrived in catering pack quantities and our taste buds shut down. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked but the quantity did not appeal to the eye. We spoke with other guests and all six commented negatively on the size of servings. Much as I enjoyed the ambiance and the pleasant staff we will not be returning because of the amount of good food going into the bin. “Food is first enjoyed through the eyes “
