We started with the potato skins, more than enough for two to share. My boyfriend had the grilled chicken sandwich, he thought it was great. I had the mac n cheese with the pulled pork. Wow! The mac n cheese was so creamy and I loved the addition of the carmelized onions! Service was GREAT, and I really like the old farmhouse feel.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel as the best local place to eat. The building looks out of place - think English pub next to a motorway - with lots of brick outside and wood inside. We ate upstairs and the service was friendly if a little slow - she seems to have a lot of covers to get around and drinks to serve. The menu is quite big but all of the food seemed a bit similar in style to us - we both settled on the crab cakes. Smutty IPA was also nice.
There was an error on one of the mains but a discount was offered without being asked for. The cheeses and crackers was an unusual touch.
Overall good and we would recommend.

Great food, good ambience and priced well. A must visit place for those of you visiting New Hampshire either for business or tourism. The place is always almost packed so be ready to wait for 30-40 mins to be seated at the dining area or grab a couch in the lounge area without having to wait. It’s all good once the wait is over!

We stopped in for a late lunch. The offering of cheddar and crackers was such a nice item to just give each customer. So rare and welcoming. Good selections, nice variety. Had a cheddar grilled cheese which comes with pepper bacon, tomato and a creamy tomato soup plus chips. It was on Parmesan bread. Simple lunch but very good and filling. My hubby loved his BLT and home made root beer. Looked like they have a nice selection of wines and beers too. Give it a try.

The Common Man is one of out first choices when we want to have a nice dinner out. The food quality, flavor and portions are fantastic. You can serve yourself at the cheeses and cracker table, while waiting for your meal. We have never had a negative experience here, the staff is so friendly. The Common Man is located near Concords "Hotel District" so you can meet people from anywhere here.
