This is a totally unique lodging... If you want something different and charming.. Look here. This is a genuine farm house built in the 1700s. Clean and well furnished... Comfortable bed.. Friendly hosts.. Great wifi.. Picturesque setting. It's all here.
Not far from Concord.
Note that the living areas are on the second floor and there is a narrow stair case to be climbed. Do try to arrive in daylight as it is a bit challenging to find in the dark.
The Windswept was pretty much the way we envisioned it. The bedrooms, living room, dininng room, kitchen and one bathroom were on the top floor. The second smaller bathroom was downstairs. We enjoyed our stay visiting our daughter and son-in-law Concord, NH (just ten minutes south). Every morning we saw the horses in their coats out in the pastures. Very peaceful setting. My husband walked all around the property with goats, chickens, horses, and very friendly dogs and cats about. Mae, the oldest dog was there to great us whenever we went out or came in. Corinne (our hostess) told us Mae likes to herd the horses when they are out. Corinne and Craig were very nice hosts and provided farm-fresh eggs for us for our daily breakfasts. I recommend anyone to stay at the Windswept Farm. They can sleep five with a little shuffling of bathroom space.
