“Can[--]t beat the location”
Reviewed 3 October 2012 for a stay in September 2012

I lived in the area and knew I wanted to be halfway between friends in Bartlett/Intervale and N. Conway shopping/restaurants. We were 4 adults (a couple 65+ and our mothers 85+). The owner is unbelievably accommodating. There were a lot of little extras we weren't expecting.... like instant coffee/tea/sugar as well as liquid soap, bar soap for the bathroom, wood for the fireplace and even some kindling. We felt right at home. The place is cozy yet roomy enough for 4. If you are traveling with anyone who has difficulty with stairs, it can be challenging. There's no railing on the 7-step flight from the entry to the bathroom below. I mentioned it to the owner and he said he would put one in. He hadn't realized this. How unbelievable is that. It's a back-to-back set of 2 chalets. We were expecting a stand-alone chalet but never asked. The family on the other side thought the same, but it was minor. This chalet is almost across from Kearsarge Rd, off of Hurricane Mtn Rd. Kearsarge is a 5 min. drive into town with NO TRAFFIC. It's near many great restaurants and about 7 mins. to Storyland, 12 to Attitash, 4 to Mt. Cranmore. Because of the owner, the cuteness of the cabins, the COMFORTABLE beds and the location, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. It's also ideal for 4 couples (rent both sides) or two families. You have your privacy yet you can all be together.

“Lovely, homey place to stay”
Reviewed 8 February 2012 for a stay in January 2012

Stayed here for long weekend in January. It was very cold outside so we made great use of the fireplace. The house is furnished very comfortably and is equipped with everything you need - dishes, cooking utensils, towels, firewood, etc. Located centrally near all North Conway amenities like restaurants and shops, but far enough away to be quiet. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the owner communicates regularly and seems very kind. Even sent us information about local events right before our stay! We hosted a few folks over two nights and it was a great "hanging out" place. Loved the fact they had wifi too.

“Great Location”

The chalet is well-furnished and in a great location to explore the North Conway area. It is close to skiing and restaurants. The one drawback is that the two properties share a very thin wall.
