This is a good property to stay at. It is a bit dated. The hot tub areas are in need of sprucing up. Note to housekeeping/management - the spare blankets in the closet should be clean and usable and so should the humidifiers.

We had a good view and a pleasant time. It's the small things that can make the stay better.

Beautiful sunsets, great shuttle.

They have their own ski tram and shuttle so you can immediately access Heavenly Ski Resort without having to drive, plus there is shuttle to casinos and Stateline Resort area. Our most desirable place to stay as a condo exchange

Great place to stay within the Heavenly Valley community on the Nevada side. Accommodations were spacious and beautiful. The staff was very helpful. Having a shuttle at your dispense was helpful as well.

The Ridge Tahoe was a great getaway experience up high in Stateline Nevada near Heavenly. It is a large property with a central Clubhouse. The Clubhouse has a great market (5 stars) with gifts and gear a plenty and a market section with more than the mere essentials. It’s also home to The Bistro with good breakfast eats (recommend the Potato Skillet or Huevos Rancheros. Heads up the Breakfast Burrito has lettuce in it... not sure why) and The Hungry Bear with a delightful 3-6 Happy Hour featuring $4 wine, beer, Wells, and signature daily drink.

The rooms are extremely spacious with a full kitchen and Sleep Number beds. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and the living area featured a welcomed fire place. One area of opportunity - the DVD player was very dated. The struggle was real trying to get a movie started. The living room also had a pull out couch and there was plenty of space for an air mattress. We stayed in the Terrace building which featured an indoor hot tub with sauna and a kids play area.

One additional note of opportunity was house cleaning. The Ridge Tahoe ultimately being a time share community, any daily cleaning needed was at a fee. We chose to clean after ourselves with no issue. House Keeping though, came by our room daily asking when we were checking out. It was the same lady. And, having worked at a hotel in a previous life, I know there are internal programs that notify the house keeping department of stays and vacancies. I appreciate them being thorough but it came across disorganized and intrusive.

At the end of the day, The Ridge Tahoe was a great experience and is totally recommended for a family stay in South Lake Tahoe.
