We've stayed here before and were happy even though the restaurant had to close early as we arrived. This time we had no reservation but it was no problem. The desk clerk, Olivia, was new but a very nice and helpful young lady. She handled our check-in quickly and with a smile. We were traveling with our dog and she guided us to the Marina where there is a nice park that allows dogs.
Our room was clean and comfortable and although I-80 is nearby, it was fairly quiet. When I went to the restaurant at 6 am, there was no one there to sell me coffee. We went to Denny's next door for breakfast.

This was an absolutely last minute stay with two kids under two years old. All the prices online were a little high, but this was the hotel nearest to where we were so we pulled off the highway and decided to get a price. $89 for the night. We were able to get two cribs for the babies at no extra charge. The front desk was able to tell us places to go with the kids, checked hours of their Target so we could get supplies for our last minute stay.

The bed was SUPER comfy and they had pillows marked as soft or firm so you could enjoy your preference of pillow style.

We bought ice cream at the store and forgot to get something to eat it out of and utensils. The front desk went into the restaurant and got us bowls, spoons, and even some cherries.

The room was comfortable. All of the recommendations were awesome. My son loved the floor to ceiling window at the end of the building facing downtown Reno so he was able to sit and look at all the lights of the city.

I would definitely stay here again because of the great service.

One note of caution: If the hotel is having an event, you might not have a parking spot when you get back to the hotel. There was a HUGE event in the ballroom of the hotel and we had to park quite far away for the night. The event was quite loud, but upon complaint to the front desk (we were on the 8th floor and could still hear the music from the event) they asked the event DJ to turn the music down due to the late hour.

Room Tip: End room facing downtown for view described

Plenty wrong with this place
--no fan in bathroom. Phew!
--TV stations did not agree with the in-room listing
--Restaurant had no blue cheese for the bleu cheese burger
--Restaurant service was extremely slow, even though there was only one other table occupied. We were within one minute of walking out when the food arrived.
--ice machine on floor ran out.....they only have ice machines on odd numbered floors, no wonder.
--located next to a fuel depot. Tankers pulling in and out all night could be heard in the room
--also located next to I-80, very heavily travelled.

--all this for $139/night with more than a 10% tax rate on top.

++ no slots or other gambling on site.

Room Tip: try to go another hour along the interstate.

Pet friendly hotel. Noisy location very close to Interstate. We stayed on a very windy night and the window seals allowed the wind to whistle loudly. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Elevators are a little slow. Hotel was recently remodeled and was well kept on the interior. Parking lot and neighborhood are commercial in nature. No Suites but standard rooms are good size. Wireless was a little slow with a weak signal in our end room.

The hotel looks like it was recently remodeled and the hotel rooms are very quiet. The problem with this hotel is its poor level of service. It took us over 30 minutes to register for our room and there was only 1 person at the front desk, despite a very long waiting line. The person at the front desk told us they charged us $10 in advance for the breakfast; but when we went to eat, the waitress told us the price of the breakfast was around $7. It took forever to get to our rooms because one of the elevators was broken and it remained unfixed until at least the next day.

Additionally, the hotel is located in an industrial area of town. It would not be my first choice of an ideal location.
