We had a terrific and very good stay in Hotel Platinum. Because of our 40th wedding anniversary we got an upgrade of our room. We had a very good and well equipped suite with a king size bed, a beautiful bathroom with separate bath and shower. There was also a wash machine and dryer in the room. What was really nice because we had traveled. We had a great view from our balcony to the strip of Las Vegas. The hotel is just one block away from the strip, but more quiet than hotels directly on the strip. In the morning we had a good breakfast in the restaurant on the fifth floor. The breakfast was really good and well priced. We used also the pool for a swim. It was opened till 11 PM. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Vegas.

Along with other reviews this establishment is excellent, the rooms are clean and spacious. Has everything you need. TV in bedroom and lounge area, kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Hot water in shower and good water pressure. Free undercover parking. Could not fault it. Excellent location short walk to the strip. (5 minutes) For me this location was much nicer than staying on the strip. No problems walking at night in this area. Great and quick check in service, the girls at the front desk were pleasant and efficient.

Room tip: stayed on 11th floor no noise issues

I was part of a group of 4 that attended the SEMA Convention at the end of October. We made our reservations in March. Upon arrival, the lobby was simple, not what we expected in a Vegas Hotel 1 block from the strip. The staff was excellent and we found out that this hotel does not have gambling which was fine with us. The room or I should say rooms, were a big surprise. Each was a 3 room suite with large full size kitchen, living room and large bedroom. The bathroom had separate shower and tub. Some on the rooms (not mine) had jacuzzi tubs. The room and other areas of the hotel were spotless. This is an excellent value for anyone who wants a quieter, less crowded place to stay. We all said we would book this hotel agin next year.

Room tip: There is a slight charge if you want a view of the strip. I personally would not pay for a view.

This was the second annual trip to Vegas for my wife and I and our travel companions. We chose the Platinum at first because it offered a large number of Southwest Airlines points for the three day stay, while offering a great price, a suite with a kitchen, all at a reasonable price. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a few questions and one issue and the staff immediately was able to answer our questions accurately. A simple call to the desk resolved the one issue we had with our kitchen. We plan on staying there when we return roughly the same time next year. As a note, the hotel does not have a casino on site, but several are within a quarter mile of the front door. Lastly, there was a happy hour with free wine from 4:00PM -5:30PM. It was a perk we took advantage of every night.

A friend recommended this hotel to me so we thought we'd save a few bucks by staying off the strip. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Each suite had a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. There was lots of space for you to move about freely.

Two tv's (in the bedroom and living room), everything you need to cook meals, full sized fridge and freezer, dishwasher, safe, hairdryer, ironing board, and two closets to store your clothes.

We didn't use the other amenities on site which included: spa, pool, gym, and two restaurants.

The hotel also offers free wifi and free valet parking. We didn't have a car so we had to walk to the strip. It took us 10-15 mins to walk to the strip.

We ate breakfast most days next door at Ellis Island Casino. You get great food there for about $7 or less. You really can't go wrong with that!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay off the strip.
