We ate here last week using a Groupon. Based on some of the uninformed reviews here, we were a tad skeptical and almost wrote off our assessment even before stepping into the place. We ordered the ribeye steaks with some mashed potatoes and carrots and broccoli. The meat was cooked well and tasted great! The vegetables were perfect and the mashed potatoes excellent. The young woman who served us was prompt, courteous and pleasant. Restrooms were in perfect shape and working order. Perhaps we arrived too early to see the crowds (A Godsend in my view) but the place was almost empty. Overall, I'd recommend this establishment for a very good meal, great service, and reasonable prices. Owners also are associated with the Vintner Grill and perhaps my favorite place for happy hour meals, Sedona. Will write about that separately.

We recently had dinner at the Road Runner on Flamingo Rd., in Las Vegas, NV as it is fairly near our home. The atmosphere is very nice - lots of TV showing sports, servers are pleasant, but the Food was not very good. Everything tasted ... not fresh. Very disappointed this time eating at the Road Runner. As well, the tops of the wood tables felt very sticky to the touch. Not sure we will go back?

Our second stop at this great little family-owned restaurant was just as good as the first. The menu was easy to follow and the offerings were just what a Southwestern restaurant would be. The lunch for three was under $35, and the food was worth more than $60 at other like restaurants. The service was exceptional, parking, entrance and greetings were easily accessible and genuine. It was a joy to look at the western decor, and savor the ability to talk and listen without shouting. Try it, you will like it!

The salads are very good - fresh and cold - nothing wilted at a reasonable price. The steaks tended to be tough but flavorful. They do seem to have difficulty preparing a medium rare steak - always arrived medium, at best. Service is very friendly and makes up for not the quickest. I ate here several times while on business in the area and will return.
