My wife took me to Picasso for our wedding anniversary whilst on vacation in Las Vegas.
From the minute we walked through the door I could tell this was going to be an amazing dining experience.
We started with cocktails at the bar, before being seated at our outdoor table with an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains.
We had a glass of champagne and the Waiter thoughtfully asked if we would like to finish that before having any food, this was a really nice touch and gives you that feeling of being completely relaxed and not rushed as you do in many restaurants.
My wife and I chose to have the menu degustation and the wine pairing which cost extra, but was well worth it.
A complimentary amuse bouche of asparagus soup and pheasant croquet wrapped in Serrano Ham was presented and it was beautiful.
This was followed by:
1. Maine Lobster salad
2. Pan seared U-10 Day boat Scallop
3. Sautéed steak of "A" fois gras
4. Roasted tournedo loin of Colorado lamb
Each with an accompanying glass of wine. It was hard to choose a favourite course as each one was so tasty and a culinary experience in themselves.
Dessert was a choice of 6 different ones, my wife had a pumpkin torte and I went for a Chocolate bread pudding. The coffee was also beautiful and probably the best in Vegas!! Petit fours were served after the dessert.
A particularly nice touch was the 'happy anniversary' written in chocolate on the desert plates.
To top the experience off, we were given little presentation boxes with mini muffins inside when leaving.
It is an expensive restaurant, but you are very well looked after and the food is sensational.
