The Mandarin Oriental was my favorite hotel to stay for many years in Vegas. I can honestly say that little has changed since the hotel became a Waldorf Astoria. Almost all of them boys are still there, thus there is still that familiarity and exceptional service. The decoration is still unchanged, except for the logos, although a remodel is being planned.
The concierge service remains exceptional. They help make the task of planning the weekend, places to eat, and places to go easy.
They still have a hotel car, that when available, can take you anywhere on the strip free of charge.
I enjoy the hotel mostly because there is no casino and it is a way to get away from the hustle and bustle, noise, and smoke of most of the strip locations.
The pool area is nice, with full service. There is an adult pool area and hot tubs. Cabanas are available. More
