Stayed on overnight stopover on recommendation of a friend. Park is difficult to get to in a 38 ft motor home, requires u turn on busy street and entrance is very poorly marked and if you miss it, it’s a ten mile ordeal to get back. The park offers spacious level paved spots, easy maneuvering, clean well maintained facilities conveniently located. All in all, great accommodations and very reasonable price. Now, if the park would just hire a few personable individuals to staff the reception desk this would be an awesome place. Very unfriendly and dismissive desk staff, if I wanted frowns and rolling eyes I’d spend more time with my teenage grandkids. These people should realize travelers have just come out of Vegas traffic, they should show some empathy and understanding...

This is a split RV park - north and south. We arrived at the south (smaller and geared towards longer stays) and were directed to the north campground. The folks working the check in at both places were pleasant and informative. This is a fairly new facility having moved from the now abandoned Circus Circus site several years ago. It is well laid out property with level gravel mostly pull-through sites off asphalt streets with modern and convenient hookups. The cable tv (analog) was snowy, so we used the over the air stations - there were lots of them all in HD. The cell service was good, and the wifi was hit or miss - not as good or reliable as we would have liked. There are almost no trees, so there is not much shade. The pool is nice (not as warm as you would think) and a there is a nice hot tub. Good bathroom facilities and a modern laundry with a folding table and an ironing board.

Walking distance to the Sam's Town casino, and the free shuttle to either the strip or Fremont Street was convenient. Although not close to the action you can get there from here. Walmart is across the street, and there is plenty of shopping opportunities close by.

This KOA has two seperate RV parks. The north one on Boulder street is right next to and more convenient to the Sams Town Casino. They put us in the South Park on Nellis- which is 3 blocks from Sams Town. This RV park had decent spots with a few trees, good laundry, and a small pool with a hot tub. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the sights of the big city. Taking two stars off because of several issues: many full time residents in this park with nothing to do except walk around talking to themselves and eye you & your stuff and sit in the laundry room and watch tv. The sites are very close together. Although there is razor wire around the perimeter fence, the front entrance is not locked or gated and we did not see security at any time during our stay. We did not feel safe leaving anything outside when we were not sitting outside of our camper (chairs, table, dog fence, etc) We were not able to utilize the free shuttle that goes from Sams Town to the strip and downtown due to the walk between the two places. Many homeless in the area between this RV park and Sams Town - much worse after dark of course. We tried a uber one day and then decided to just drive our own vehicle to the strip and park at planet hollywoods free parking.
