So I booked this hotel through Expedia for one night before I flew back to the UK at the end of a 3 week holiday.

The booking process with Expedia was seamless and on arrival I had no problems checking in or with the payment etc.

The hotel staff were fantastic. Friendly and very helpful, especially a man named Julian (I think).

Parking was free and easily accessible to the hotel.

The room (7th floor) was smaller than that of equivalent price at the Hard Rock (where we stayed when we arrived at the start of the holiday) but it did have a separate bedroom and lounge which was ideal for putting the kids to bed but still being able to watch TV etc.

The room was also clean and comfortable. My wife thought the bed was too hard, but this is a woman who would sleep on a marshmallow is she could!! I thought it was comfortable and had a great nights sleep.

The hotel was quiet, although I stayed for one night (Monday).

The hotel isn't walking distance from the strip or other attractions but that also means it's quiet.

I would stay here again.

I stayed at the Marriott Las Vegas when I was in town for a conference, service is excellent I wanted to drop my bags and check in later which was no problem. The hotel is a little run down and is definitely a 3 star hotel, if you have stayed in full marriotts, especially in Asia you will probably be disappointed, its more of a "Courtyard" by an Asian standard, but the service is what you would expect from a Marriott. The rooms are large, though a strange design aircon is fairly noisy and switches on and off.

I tried the breakfast one morning and found it to be pretty average, deep fried over crispy bacon and tired buffet items, I had an omelette that was large but not great.

As I said the service was pretty great when I was there the only challenge I had was i called twice after I checked out as I had left an item in the hotel, both times the person on the phone was slow to understand and then promised to call back once they have checked with housekeeping, neither called back and I had to register the item as lost and claim on insurance.

Dear cwoodhead, thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Your feedback gives us the information we need to better serve our guests and is much appreciated. Even though our hotel receives high ratings for cleanliness and great service, we can appreciate that you were hoping for a more up-to-date experience. We hope the other aspects of your stay made up for this and that you will come back to see us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.

This is a nice property, Good room, Nice Location, Friendly Staff.
What really sets this hotel apart is the breakfast buffet. It is incredible! It is exprnsive, but worth it.(and free if you are Marriott Platinum).

Room Tip: You have a view in every direction.

This hotel is not far from the strip but without a car maybe not so convenient, although you have a stop of the SDX express bus 5 minutes away, but the frequency of this service may not be so good sometimes and in hot weather the walk to/from the hotel could be a bit harsh with no shade to get cover from the sun.

Rooms in the hotel are quite spacious and we got a room facing the Strip (south) so this was quite nice. A/C was working properly and not noisy. We got a king size bed that was quite comfortable.

We had breakfast one day and it was very good (many buffet options and eggs cooked as you wish) and with great service.

This place may suit better people attending some exhibition nearby but not really if you want to be nearby the Strip, except you look for a quiet place with no gaming facilities. Overall a good experience.

This hotel is located approx 2 blocks off of the strip. The staff were very friendly and our room was really nice. It was a bedroom with a separate living room. The breakfast buffet was really good!!! We would definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work.
