We ate here for Sunday lunch - a delicious seafood chowder,as a starter (accompanied by some top home made soda bread), with the seafood special of the day,which was a trio of salmon,hake and sea bass in a white wine sauce,with gorgeous mashed potato on the side,as a main. Truly yummy - my mouth is watering just thinking about it now ....

Looking for an overnight stay for one in a great location. This did not disappoint. Enjoyed a lovely dinner and walk the evening I arrived, and an early sea swim the following morning. Room perfectly clean,comfortable bed. Bring your own shampoo/ shower gel. Staff friendly. A great find .

A welcoming bar with a restaurant worthy of the name. Local Fish cooked with panache to perfection.
Stayed here a week and ate nowhere else! The Guinness Brown bread is so good I cadged some to bring home!
The soon to open greenway will be a magnet for cyclists riding the dozen miles from Tralee to Fenit through glorious Kerry countryside,
Our room had a double aspect over the bay with superb views over the trackway to the bay and the lighthouse.

It must be said that I paid €50 for this room so wasnt expecting much,just wanted a place to put the head down before I played Tralee golf links the next day.

Nice location and some lovely views,room was nice on first impression,no toiletries in room. Food was nice and was given menu by a lovely girl, Guinness in bar was lovely and lads behind the bar couldn't be nicer. Had to take a phone call and was interrupted by a blonde waitress telling me I had to pay my bill, as if she thought I was going to do a runner!!Even though I was staying there !!

Went to bed and room was very cold, even though I stayed in May, tried to put on heater which was left in room ,but that was a fire hazard! Bed like a rock ,duvet and pillows the cheapest of the cheap, couldn't sleep a wink, was contemplating going out to sleep in my car it was that bad.

Couldn't wait to go down for breakfast in morning and get out of there. Lady serving breakfast was lovely and breakfast was grand.

All in all most of the staff very great but the rooms could definitely be improved on, food spot on but a bit pricey.
