Waited 30 minutes just to order and another hour to eat. Not judging the taste, because you won't have any idea about the taste any more after waiting so long. Will never come back ever.

Hectic enough place food nice but we were overcharged and it was so noisy that I couldn't make myself heard to point this out and gave up as in all honesty it was only a euro....but I've eaten much better and I don't understand this place's high rating. Plenty of sea food in the pasta if we had been more adventurous and tried the fish dishes maybe my review would be better....

Awfully miserable waiters who found it difficult to make eye contact, smile, or be pleasant and it wasn’t even busy. No goodbye when we left.
Both pasta dishes very small portions and very salty.

Take a front seat as the owner - Piero of course! -works his magic for all to see...as he fires up yet another “panful” of seafood that’s sure to please because everything is so fresh and this guy is truly talented when it comes to just how well everything is prepared.

Salvatore, Mario and Salvo the Chef were (more than!) accommodating-and VERY knowledgeable.

First they brought us a starter that while we cannot remember the name it was your basic FILO filled with potato and fish...and when my wife asked for a “tomato sauce loaded with garlic” to dip these tasty FILO things in ...Wow! did they ever deliver!

We ordered a seafood pasta -a signature dish- along with a whole fish that was probably the best we had in Sicily - a pretty heady statement considering ....we’ve been eating dinner every night in some of the best restaurants in Sicily for the last six weeks!

À flambéed Apricot crêpe (filled with ricotta à la canoli) was expertly prepared by Mario ... and left a seriously good taste in our mouths.

In short, these people treated us like royalty and the food and the atmosphere was second to none.

We ate here the first night and was not disappointed... However Sunday evening at 630pm the restaurant had only two tables full. We sat... & waited. & waited. & waited... I had to ask for the menu and the waiter could only find one! We waited again and again. No drink order was taken?? We even asked if they were open?!! We waited another 10 minutes and still nothing! We left! Very disappointed
