We stayed at Villa Soliva for 3 days and enjoyed our stay. The general accomodation is very good with terrific seating area and panoramic views. Antonello was very pleasant and helpful. The only slight downside is the kitchen which is quite small and dated. Having said that it has all the necessary facilities for basic cooking

The appartment has a nice and large dining area with a spacious 'all fresco' part with nice plants and a big sliding door to a big terrace. Both have a great view at Mondello bay/beach and Mount Pellegrino.
Next to this there is a very large outdoor area with different terraces with each it's own table&chairs, surrounded by a very well kept garden.
Inside there is a spacious 2-persons bedroom with it's own bathroom and 1 smaller 2-persons bedroom with a bathroom next to it. Both bedrooms have good beds.
The kitchen is (compared to the rest) smaller, and has everything what you need for good cooking, including the basics as olive oil, peper&salt, soap for doing the dishes and powder for the dishwasher.
The house is situated on the mountain and 5 minutes drive form the beacj and Mondello square. Because of the narrow road a walk with a young child is not advised.
The owner is very helpful and speaks good English.

The location of Villa Soliva was a convenient short drive to the shopping centre of Mondello & the beach. There were lovely sea & mountain views from the villa. The water views provided interest each day. The villa is located in a quiet residential & secure environment. It was well equipped for self catering although the kitchen was quite small with minimal preparation space. The living areas were light, welcoming, spacious & comfortable especially the sunroom where we spent most of our time. Comfy beds & clean bathrooms. The garden was extensive and appealing with numerous seating & outdoor eating options. Wifi worked well. Antonello was extremely responsive to our questions & offered much advice to ensure we had a good stay. He speaks English well & was a pleasure to deal with. A very friendly & likeable host.

This is a magnificent place to stay when you want privacy, luxury, gardens and quiet as a home base. The house is a VERY close to a sea side town Mondello that is so cute it almost hurts. Antonelo was extremely helpful and kind from check in to check out.
The house is very modern, very comfortable, great amenities and magnificent views of sea & mountains from terraces inside and patios outside. Amazing place to watch sunsets. Lovely breezes and QUIET. Almost no cars on the street. Beds & showers are dreamy & everything is quite new & works perfectly. A great place for a family, a couple or two.
We will come back as often as possible to this house and this place. The best way to explore Palermo is to not STAY in Palermo ;-)
