I loved my stay in Yellowstone so much there is nothing that could upset me while there. I mean the expectation is according to the location. It will do. In any other part of the world I wouldn't stay in this hotel. But it's fine.
Good: internet, parking, location is ok and quiet. Food at breakfast is good.
Not so good: very worn down and breakfast are is limited - so be there early!

very helpful staff, even though not really familiar with town and NP (no locals); nice and clean rooms, windows to open; rather far to town centre; good breakfast; enough free parking; good food and entertainment possibilities in town

Room Tip: twin room with 2 queens

Hotel was barely okay...rooms very small...it is quite disconcerting to pay almost 300 per night for a hotel of this caliber...similar to motel 6...they are simply taking advantage of the fact that they are right there at west entrance of Yellowstone. Shameful.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We're sorry you felt we were not a good value. Our location next to Yellowstone National Park is a great value for anyone that doesn't want to spend extra time or money to travel hundreds of miles each way just to get to the park entrance. If you plan at least a year ahead you could pay about the same price to stay in the park, but you would not have the ammenties we offer with free breakfast, wifi, indoor pool and spa. Staying in West Yellowstone also offers better options for dining and shopping. Our rates are competitive with hotels in the area.

The hotel was rundown but it was close to the entrance of Yellowstone park. The rugs in the hotel appeared to be from the 1970's, even though they advertised newly renovated! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the town of West Yellowstone was very quaint! Very expensive hotel for a small sized room and tiny bathroom!

Room Tip: We loved the location to the entrance of West Yellowstone but wish we had gone with a newer hotel!!

Thank you for your comments, we were newly remodeled with furnitue and fixtures 3 years ago. Since we are only open 6 month a year it still feels like new. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and found our staff to be freindly and helpful.

We stayed two nights Iin June. The front counter help was grumpy and at times rude. When asked for extra towels she stated " don't you use your towels twice. When asked for additional key to room, she stated two is all you need. Not a welcome environment. Will never stay here again.

I'm sorry to hear you did like your stay, we pride ourselves on being friendly and helpful and from you comments it sounds like we fell short. The worst part is we caused a customer to say they would not return. We would like the opportunity to make another stay more comfortable for you but your comments help us improve. thanks
